Corregidor: Adventure Island

May 27, 2011

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Corregidor’s new Adventure Challenge in SIM.

Organized by Sun Cruises, this new way to enjoy Corregidor is styled after reality show The Amazing Race. You get to race through the ruins, crawl through tunnels, trek through forests, and explore some of the island’s sites you wouldn’t normally get to visit.

For those who have never been to Corregidor, it’s a great way to learn about history. The race takes an average of 2.5-3.5 hours for  a team to complete, so it’s perfect for a day tour. According to tour organizers, people of all ages can join as long as they’re physically fit.

I’d recommend this for groups looking for a different way to celebrate their birthday, family reunion, a special occasion, go on a barkada outing, or show balikbayan friends something cool in the country. It’s very popular for team-building activities as well.

Day Tour Corregidor Adventure Inclusions:

  • Round trip ferry transfers
  • Shrine, entrance and terminal fees
  • Corregidor Adventure participation fee
  • Corregidor Adventure Kit (includes bottled water, sunblock, energy bar, towel)
  • Corregidor Adventure Shirt
  • Buffet or Boodle Fight Lunch

The Adventure package costs P1,999 per person (same cost as Corregidor’s day tour with buffet lunch). For inquiries or reservations contact (632) 527-5555 ext. 4511/4512/4515 or (632) 834-6657-58 / 831-8140. E-mail: corregidortours@ suncruises.com.ph or visit www.corregidorphilippines.com

If you’re staying overnight, check out my related post on what else you can do in Corregidor.🙂
